Tired of advising on holding structures? Step inside a real supply chain.

If you work in Transfer Pricing in Luxembourg, you likely know the script: intra-group loans, cash pools, guarantee fees, and holding vehicles.

It’s solid, technically demanding work, but it rarely gets you close to a tangible commercial product.

This is the antidote to that.

In this role, you’ll be joining the central TP team of one of Europe’s largest, most recognisable consumer goods groups. This isn't an investment platform, it’s an independent, multi-generational giant with tens of thousands of employees and household-name products found in homes across Europe every single day.

Because their Luxembourg hub sits right at the heart of the business, your remit touches the entire commercial lifecycle: manufacturing, international logistics, IP and brand licensing, operational services, and yes, the financing as well.

Why we love working with this client (and what you’ll actually be doing)

We tell candidates this often: the best in-house roles are always the ones where the tax function has real trust and influence. That is precisely what we see here.

Because the business remains family-owned, they don’t get bogged down in quarterly earnings panic or corporate bureaucracy.

Decisions get made quickly, sensible ideas get backed, and people are given real room to take ownership early.

On a day-to-day level, that commercial freedom completely reshapes what your job looks like. You aren’t just producing slide decks or running routine benchmarking studies from the sidelines, this role has much more depth.

Alongside overseeing the central Master File and Country-by-Country reporting, you will actively set and implement pricing policies for physical goods moving through European factories, manage high-profile brand licensing and support local tax teams worldwide.

Because much of the central finance and leadership team operates in German, you will be using your language skills daily to collaborate across borders, support international audits before disputes arise, and advise on M&A or restructuring projects. They are also investing heavily in their systems, meaning you'll get hands-on experience modernising TP workflows with SAP and emerging AI tools rather than just dealing with manual spreadsheets. It’s a proper operating business with a proper supply chain, and you get to understand it from the inside out.

Who this is for

This is an ideal move for a Big 4, legal, or boutique TP junior Manager, or someone in an early in-house role, ready to trade billable hours for commercial impact.

Technically, you should have around 3 to 5+ years of TP experience with a solid grasp of documentation, methodology design and benchmark analyses.

Fluency in English and professional-level German are both essential, as you'll be communicating with German-speaking stakeholders regularly.

Beyond the technical essentials, they want someone commercially curious, comfortable navigating financial systems, and excited to visit group operational sites when projects call for it.
