The leadership is now seeking a strong Tax Transformation Director with deep direct corporate tax technical expertise and proven SAP implementation experience, ready to co-lead major client programmes, shape strategy and step into senior leadership.

The mandate

Working closely with the Practice Leader, you’ll sit across corporate direct tax, enterprise architecture and strategic change.

You’ll architect and deliver transformative direct tax and statutory reporting operating models for FTSE 100 and global multinationals undergoing major SAP S/4HANA programmes, ERP modernisations and global reporting transformations, working alongside tax engines such as Vertex or ONESOURCE where they sit within the wider architecture.

Beyond delivery, this is a builder role. You’ll help recruit and mentor high-performing consultants, co-lead major client pitches, develop proprietary methodologies and directly influence how the direct tax practice scales across the UK and EMEA.

Who you are

You’re likely operating as a Director or seasoned Senior Manager within a Big 4 firm, top-tier consultancy or sophisticated corporate in-house tax transformation function.

You combine deep UK and international direct corporate tax knowledge with hands-on SAP and ERP architecture experience. You understand how tax data flows through general ledgers, tax engines and reporting platforms, and you can translate complex tax requirements into a robust technical framework.

Most importantly, you’re commercially astute, intellectually curious and motivated by the opportunity to build something exciting.
