The Role

As an Operational Transfer Pricing Manager, you’ll act as the crucial link between tax, finance, and technology functions. Your focus will be on helping clients design and operationalise transfer pricing processes that work in real life, at scale, across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll guide them through the complexity of their current-state operations, identify where processes and systems can be streamlined, and help define future-state designs that align business strategy with digital capability.

You’ll lead workshops with senior finance and tax leaders, translate business needs into practical functional requirements, and help shape how technology can best enable their vision. Working alongside teams specialising in EPM and OTP solutions, from SAP PaPM and Tagetik to Anaplan, Exa, and Power Platform, you’ll ensure that what gets built truly delivers measurable value.

This isn’t a hands-on configuration role; it’s about shaping the blueprint. You’ll stay close to the evolving global tax landscape (including developments like BEPS Pillar 2) and ensure your clients’ operating models are ready for what’s next.

About You

You’ve ideally spent between 5 and 10 years building deep experience across operational transfer pricing, finance transformation, or tax technology. Perhaps you started in consulting and moved into industry, or vice versa, but you understand how to bridge strategic goals and operational realities. You’re fluent in process design, stakeholder engagement, and navigating the grey area between tax, finance, and technology.

You’re curious, commercially minded, and comfortable in fast-moving, international environments. You may not be a systems configurator, but you know enough about EPM and OTP tools to collaborate confidently with technical experts and challenge assumptions where needed.

Additionally, you’ll be an exceptional communicator in English, and while fluent French isn’t essential, a working knowledge or enthusiasm for the language is a definite advantage. Ideally, you’ll already be based in France or elsewhere in the European Union, with a mindset that’s as global as the clients you’ll serve.
