Our client is a Financial Services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries. By connecting markets East & West, our client services the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments   through its three business divisions: Retail, Asset Management, and Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking). With deep-rooted origins, the firm is built on a tradition of disciplined entrepreneurship, serving clients with creative solutions and considered thought leadership.

Transfer Pricing is an increasingly important issue for our client in the light of OECD announcements on BEPS, growth in its international business and as it transitions to a global booking hub model.
There is a new requirement for a London based Transfer Pricing Manager to work alongside the Global Tax and existing TP Team. Responsibilities will include the design, review and implementation of Transfer Pricing policies, including reviewing the output of those policies and methods, within the context of the Group's overall Transfer Pricing approach. The role has a particular focus on the European and Middle East region (EMEA).

Additional duties will include the following:

  • Manage ad hoc Transfer Pricing queries and assist business, finance and EMEA tax teams with Transfer Pricing data requests and compliance.
  • Produce Transfer Pricing documentation for EMEA in line with BEPS action 13.
  • Assist in managing and developing policies.
  • Document policies, at both an EMEA regional and global level.
  • Work closely with the Transfer Pricing Centre of Excellence to recommend procedures and practices regarding the pricing of intra-group transactions, as well as monitoring the implementation of Group Transfer Pricing policies.
  • Provide support to EMEA entities undergoing tax audits and regulatory queries relating to Transfer Pricing matters;
  • Identify, document and review intra-group transactions and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate Transfer Pricing risk.

You will be a Transfer Pricing professional with 4-7 years post qualification experience (preferably with Financial Services experience) with a good knowledge of Finance. A good general knowledge of direct and indirect tax issues affecting Transfer Pricing would also be beneficial. As this role will involve significant face time with the business and finance functions, you will need to have highly effective communication and presentation skills and demonstrable analytical and organisational skills.  This represents an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team with a collaborative working ethos. Excellent remuneration and bonus package on offer. Due to the urgency of this assignment being shortlisted for, we will only be able to accept applications from individuals with eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
