Transfer Pricing Manager

The Transfer Pricing Manager will be responsible for delivering a number of key objectives for the transfer pricing function and will oversee the transfer pricing analyst to assist with the support of the wider function’s deliverables. You will also be the point of contact for transfer pricing and supporting the wider business, whilst also providing transfer pricing input in various group initiatives.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for the global annual transfer pricing setting, including setting the methodology for various types of transfer pricing calculations in the tool and working with Finance and IT in to develop and implement various automation workflow tools.
You will also be expected to ensure full compliance, as you perform value chain analysis, maintain and up-date templates, whilst also liaising with external consultants and managing the cost of the projects.
Within the role, you will be actively involved in the transfer pricing audits (and APAs where applicable) in countries working closely with finance controllers and external consultants. You will be involved in Interco non-trade recharges, as you review the GHO/GBS recharge calculations and allocation keys applied, review transfer pricing parameters of the Interco recharge workflow tool and formulate and draft transfer pricing policies for various types of intercompany nontrade recharges and then communicate this with the business.
Finally, you will be involved within intercompany agreements, as you identify the cases where a legal requirement is required and actively engage in updating and suggesting language to be included in agreements.
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for an individual who is able to process transfer pricing tasks independently with oversight from the Transfer Pricing Director and someone who is familiar with legal framework for transfer pricing and the demonstration of transfer pricing principles in domestic law/treaties/OECD guidelines/UN manuals and so on. In addition, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the regulations, practical interpretation, audits, court cases, APAs and rulings in the key countries.
It’s imperative that you have a strong understanding of significant changes regarding transfer pricing in the laws and routine practices of the OECD, UN, and key countries, and understand the application of transfer pricing rules in various countries and policy development implications.
